The photographs were created during the renovation of Cukrarna Palace, as the historic structure is being transformed into BAZA – Center mladih Ljubljana.
They do not present the final result, but rather the process: structural frames, installations, raw walls, light and the underlying structure from which a contemporary youth centre is emerging.
The city’s industrial heritage is transforming into a hub of future potential, creativity, connection and youth community.
This is a moment between past and future – between construction and content, between a building and a space for young people.
