How can street art contribute to greater social cohesion in Europe? What kind of skills, values, and approaches do young street artists bring when working with communities?
As part of the PASS – Pass the Street (Art), Shake the Hand project, in which Mladi zmaji are proud to participate as the Slovenian partner, a transnational research effort was conducted involving 34 young artists from eight European countries. The final report provides insights into their capacity to create socially engaged artworks, collaborate with communities, and understand inclusion-related EU policies.
The research explores:
- the ability to address social topics through art,
- readiness to engage diverse groups,
- digital and communication skills,
- knowledge of EU inclusion policies and programs,
- fundraising and project financing competencies.
