From 25 to 29 September 2025, Belgrade hosted the PASS Capacity Building Training, bringing together young emerging street artists from across Europe with trainers and experts. The training marked the official start of the public part of the artistic journey of the PASS project, aimed at empowering street art as a tool for social inclusion and transnational dialogue.
The participants were selected through an open call promoted across Creative Europe countries, with the objective of representing diversity and reinforcing the project’s commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities.
During the training, the artists enhanced their skills and explored how to transform ideas into socially engaging street artworks. They also learned to guide communities through the four stages of the PASS methodology engaging, sharing, educating and transforming, while connecting their artistic practice with community research and European policy frameworks.
Divided into six transnational teams, the artists began developing concepts for murals and performances that will be realized during the upcoming PASS festivals across Europe.
The PASS project is co-funded by the European Union
